Marvin has been writing songs since 1976. He has lived in Rex Georgia for the past 30 years. He records at Heart and soul Studio which he built in his barn behind the house. Marvin's music would be considered as crossover and has been widely accepted in churches, coffee houses, and prisons. This type of music is mostly testimonial and has been birthed from many life experiences. Some you will laugh with some you will cry. Marvin has recorded 5 albums "Heart Of The City" was literally written while he was doing street ministry in Houston Texas. "Transparent Heart" came along with his passion to get into prison Ministry. "Timeless Soul" is an Instrumental album, there are some songs you just love all the time these are timeless melodies. Currently Marvin is finishing up two new Projects Country Project Called "Wanted By Grace". It too is distinctively Marvin's style. And a Praise and worship album" Symphony of Praise". These are due to be released next Spring 2021. This album Wanted By Grace reflects his roots. " I Remember when I was too young to play his Martin Guitar So I'd sit and watch his fingers and wonder where to start one day he handed me a Mosrite so badly abused I ignored the scratches in the back it was right for me to use. Late at night I'd play softly to my transistor radio I practiced to the Grand Ole Opry and then some Hag and Jones. While my mind was full of wonder I thought how different life could be a lot less crying loving and leaving if they only knew the King Of Kings. Sweet memories like a melody woven through a song........"
